Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT/IEMA certification to work night shifts in a short-term acute care setting.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Night shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM
- Assignment in a short-term acute care hospital, primarily covering CT procedures
- Serves ED, outpatient, inpatient, and ICU patient populations
- May be required to float between hospital sites within the same system
- Procedures include IV starts, contrast administration, and biopsies
- Uses PACS system and the EPIC EMR, with EPIC experience required
- No on-call required
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Scrub color is navy blue
- Must be able to float between designated facilities as needed
- Facial hair must be compatible with fit testing requirements
- No more than 7 days of requested time off allowed per 13-week contract; no time off approved during the first week
- Permanent former employees must wait 1 year before returning as travelers
- Travelers may stay up to 12 or 18 months, depending on role, before a required break in service
- COVID vaccine or medical marijuana cards are not accepted

- Minimum of 1 year CT Tech experience required
- Current ARRT and IEMA certifications required
- Valid state license required; license must be in hand at time of consideration if applicable
- Experience in ED, outpatient, inpatient, and ICU settings preferred
- Ability to perform IV starts, contrast studies, and biopsies
- Experience with EPIC charting required
- Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius from the facility
- References preferred within the last two years
