Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Specialist II to support manufacturing operations by monitoring compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), company policies, and regulatory standards. This role involves conducting audits, reviewing records, performing cleaning verifications, and ensuring product quality through proactive oversight.
Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct daily GMP walkthroughs and audits of manufacturing areas.
2. Perform Acceptance Quality Limits (AQLs) inspections as needed.
3. Place materials and products on hold when quality concerns arise.
4. Review executed manufacturing records for accuracy and compliance.
5. Perform visual cleaning verifications of rooms and equipment.
6. Provide documentation for internal and external audits.
7. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
8. Support additional quality-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, or 1 year of satisfactory performance as a QA Inspector.
3. Knowledge of GMPs and quality assurance practices.
4. Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
5. Ability to read, review, sample, count, and calculate yields and reconciliations.
6. Proficiency with personal computers and database software.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Associate’s degree or higher in a related field.
2. Prior experience supporting manufacturing opertions directly in a QA role.
3. Familiarity with Clarity, MS Project, or similar project management software.

Certifications (if any)

1. OSHA Respirator Questionnaire clearance.
2. Visual screening (near, far, color, depth, peripheral vision).
3. Drug screening (11-panel + fentanyl).
4. Medical screenings as required.
