Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract position is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with pediatric expertise to support students across a variety of grade levels in a school setting located in Yorktown, VA. This role offers an opportunity to work with children from early childhood through high school, including pre-K, elementary, middle school (grades 6-8), and high school (grades 9-12).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies.
  • Participate in meetings to review student progress and plan for ongoing support.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certification in pediatrics or experience working with pediatric populations.
  • Experience working with students from pre-kindergarten through high school.
  • Knowledge of early childhood, elementary, and adolescent speech-language development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and school staff.
