Job DescriptionJob Description:Medical Temporaries, Inc. has a position available for a Medication Technician to work in Suffolk, VA 23435.
Job Title: Medication Technician
Requirements: Must have an unrestricted license through the State of Virginia and prefer at least one year of experience passing medications preferably in an Assisted Living environment. Must have a current CPR/BLS card.
Location: Suffolk, VA 23435
Type: Talent Pool/PRN
Start Date: ASAP
Hourly Pay Rate: $18/hr (no shift differential)
Specialty: Assisted Living
Shifts Available :
Days: 7am to 3pm
Evenings: 3pm to 11pmNights: 11pm to 7am
Summary: Ability to pass medications according to federal and state guidelines and facility requirements. Ability to update and follow MSDS and MD orders. Assist with ADLs when needed and other duties and ability to work as part of the nursing team.
Other RequirementsEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent with a current unrestricted Medication Technician license through the State of Virginia.
Skills: Prefer that candidate has experience working with dementia patients, Looking for Universal workers (go above and beyond clinical work), Documentation, communication, ability to multi-task, pay close attention to detail, assess the patient prior to dispensing medication.
