Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team in Chesterfield, Virginia. In this long-term contract role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for employees. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while contributing to the efficiency of payroll operations.

Responsibilities:
• Process payroll for employees in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Handle full-cycle payroll operations, ensuring accurate calculations and timely submission.
• Manage payroll for organizations with employee counts ranging between 101 and 500.
• Administer garnishments and other payroll deductions in accordance with legal requirements.
• Review and verify payroll data to maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll integration.
• Maintain organized records of payroll transactions and employee information.
• Provide support for audits and inquiries related to payroll processes.
• Research and address payroll-related issues promptly and professionally.• Proven experience in payroll processing and administration.
• Familiarity with handling payroll for mid-sized organizations (101-500 employees).
• Knowledge of full-cycle payroll operations and compliance standards.
• Experience managing garnishments and other deductions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data entry.
• Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related issues efficiently.
