A full-time contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school setting located in Kent, WA. This role focuses on providing direct support to students with developmental disabilities to enhance their participation in the classroom while collaborating closely with the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team to achieve student goals. The position involves conducting evaluations and assessments for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language support to students with developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with IEP teams to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and assessments related to speech and communication disorders.
- Provide ongoing consultation and support to educators and staff to facilitate student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for the state of Washington.
- Eligibility to work as a Certified Clinical Competence (CCC) holder or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate.
- Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certification required.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
