Our Orthopedic program is experiencing significant growth, with an emphasis on sub-specialization, a robust patient base, and a commitment to excellence in joint replacement surgery.

We are currently looking for a fellowship-trained, board-certified/board-eligible Orthopedic Joint Arthroplasty Surgeon to join our vibrant and expanding team. This position offers a unique chance to perform both primary and revision joint replacement surgeries in a community-focused, high-volume center, supported by a dedicated research team. You will collaborate with passionate colleagues who are committed to enhancing patients' quality of life through advanced joint care and innovative surgical methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing and treating hip and knee joint disorders that require both surgical and non-surgical approaches.

  • Conducting primary and revision total joint arthroplasty for the hip and knee, utilizing advanced technologies and ambulatory surgery center facilities.

  • Ensuring accurate documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).

  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including physical therapy, pain management, and primary care, to provide comprehensive patient care.

  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives, team meetings, and ongoing education.

  • Providing orthopedic call coverage as needed.

  • Engaging in teaching and research through academic affiliations (optional involvement).

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency.

  • Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction / Joint Arthroplasty.

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.

  • Possession of an active Maryland medical license or eligibility to obtain one.

  • Proven expertise in primary and revision total joint arthroplasty.

  • Preferred proficiency in robotic-assisted and computer-navigated surgical techniques.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.

  • Experience in community outreach and engagement is advantageous.
