Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our client's team in Pittsburgh, PA. This role is responsible for processing payroll across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Paycom and ADP payroll systems and a strong understanding of multi-state payroll operations.
Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly and/or multi-cycle payroll for employees across several locations
- Review and reconcile payroll data, including timekeeping, deductions, garnishments, and direct deposits
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Coordinate with HR and accounting teams to ensure accurate employee records and reporting
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll information
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-location environment
- Proficiency with Paycom and ADP payroll systems
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and best practices
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
