Salary Range: Starting at $38 plus overnight stipend

Position Overview:

The Wellness Nurse (Registered Nurse) plays a crucial role in supporting the Resident Services Director with the comprehensive execution, delivery, and coordination of Resident Care Services within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the associates in the Resident Services Department, including Resident Services Assistants.
• Assist in managing the medication program and support residents in self-administering their medications.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and healthcare providers.
• Report any significant incidents or changes in residents' needs to the Executive Director or Resident Services Director.
• Help complete resident assessments and develop service plans.
• Support the Resident Services Director in recruitment and performance management within the department.
• Participate in the training and orientation of new staff members.
• Engage in scheduled in-service training programs and associate meetings.
• Assist with the scheduling and staffing of Resident Services Assistants as required.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to associates in the Resident Services Department.
• Support residents and their families to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
• Supervise RSA staff during the provision of care.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid RN or LPN license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Experience in assisted living or long-term care environments is preferred.
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification is required.
