Location: Bronx, NY 10451
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 5 days/week | 8 hours/day (40 hours/week)
Pay Rate:

• Travel: $74/hour

• Local: $60/hour

Position Summary

A healthcare facility is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer to perform general radiographic procedures in accordance with departmental policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, patient-centered care, and adherence to radiation safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform general diagnostic radiographic examinations as ordered

• Ensure proper patient positioning, comfort, and safety during procedures

• Operate and maintain radiographic imaging equipment

• Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control standards

• Accurately document procedures and patient information

• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare team members

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe imaging environment

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of General Radiography experience

Education Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist training program

Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT Certification and Registration (Required)

• New York State Radiologic Technologist License (Required)

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
