Active Registered Respiratory Tech (RRT) license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Shift details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 3x12 hour shifts (18:30 – 07:00)
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
  • Weekend and call coverage: As required

Engage with a highly respected team in a major hospital setting with nearly 800 licensed beds. You’ll gain firsthand expertise working in adult critical care areas, trauma, ED, SICU, CCU, CVICU, and neuro units. Exposure to these diverse specialties will expand your skill set, deepen your understanding of advanced respiratory practices, and help you adapt to a variety of leadership styles and workplace cultures—significantly enhancing your résumé and professional versatility.

Key Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Missouri Board for Respiratory Care license
  • BLS and ACLS (AHA required); PALS preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of acute care experience
  • Adult critical care, high-volume/busy ED, trauma experience essential
  • Proficiency with Avea ventilators, LTV transport, V60 Bipap, high-flow oxygen devices, EPIC EMR
  • Strong time management, willingness to support colleagues

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive care for respiratory patients throughout all care areas
  • Perform blood gas draws, process and interpret results
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
  • Manage ventilators and other advanced respiratory support equipment
