Our state-of-the-art dental office is looking for a Patient Care Coordinator to be the warm, welcoming face that sets the tone for every visit!

Our award-winning doctor, Dr. Chamblee, & his team are looking for a warm & welcoming Dental Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator that loves to help others and truly enjoys building relationships with the patients and team. Stable & consistent full-time schedule:

  • Monday: 8a-5p
  • Tuesday: 8a-5p
  • Wednesday: 8a-3p
  • Thursday: 8a-3p

What You’ll Do:

  • Greet and assist patients with a smile
  • Provide top-tier customer service and personalized care
  • Complete & file pre-authorizations & verify insurance benefits for accurate treatment planning.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate treatment plans
  • Answer patient inquiries and ensure a stress-free experience
  • Help create a warm, friendly, and professional atmosphere
  • Focus on scheduling future appointments, handle incoming calls, manage claims & answer questions.
  • Demonstrate care & compassion to patients before, during, and after their visits.
  • Schedule patient appointments efficiently, taking into consideration dentist availability and treatment times.
  • Confirm and remind patients of upcoming appointments via phone, email, or SMS.
  • Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate with the clinical team to accommodate emergency cases and patient needs.
  • Address patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Collaborate with the billing department to verify insurance coverage and benefits & follow through with private aging – including sending statements and making collection calls.
  • Assist in the preparation of patient forms and documentation.
  • Perform general administrative tasks to support the dental office as needed.

Qualifications & What we are looking for in you …

  • Proven experience as a receptionist in a dental or medical office with 2+ years of experience, a plus!
  • Friendly, Eager to Help Others, Great Relationship-Building Skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding patient care.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional dental or administrative training is preferred.
  • Hardworking & willing to learn and understand different dental insurance plans & supporting with claim filing.
  • Willing to go above & beyond and assist our patients in accordance with the training you receive to ensure patients receive the best possible service!

You will play a pivotal role in managing patient appointments, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer services. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be critical in helping us deliver outstanding patient care.
