Espresso Cielo is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented barista to join our team on weekends. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced café environment, takes pride in specialty coffee, and provides thoughtful, efficient service to guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso drinks and brewed coffee to café standards
- Maintain consistent drink quality and presentation
- Operate POS and handle transactions accurately
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, dining area, and equipment
- Restock bar supplies and assist with opening or closing duties as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members during busy service periods
Requirements
- Ability to work both Saturday and Sunday
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow drink recipes
- Positive attitude and reliability
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Prior café or barista experience
- Latte art experience
- Interest in specialty coffee
Compensation
- Starting at $18–$19/hour depending on experience
- Tips (average an extra $10/hour)
