This travel position offers the chance to provide specialized nursing care to postoperative patients in a well-equipped 22-bed unit with a manageable patient ratio of 1:4-5, ensuring quality and attentive care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) following various surgical procedures.
• Assess and manage patient recovery, addressing pain control, vital signs, and potential complications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain high-quality patient care and smooth transitions.
• Educate patients and families regarding post-operative care needs and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed nursing documentation in line with hospital policies.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid RN license with PACU nursing experience.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills specific to post-surgical recovery.
• Ability to work efficiently within a 1:4-5 patient ratio.
