Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking an experienced School Psychologist for a full-time, onsite contract position at an elementary school in Aurora, CO. This role offers an immediate start and runs through May 22. The successful candidate will provide psychological services in a supportive school environment with a caseload of approximately 40 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support student success.
- Participate actively in the schools special education team meetings.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Colorado Department of Education requirements.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a Professional Special Services License issued by the Colorado Department of Education.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively during interviews, articulating experience and skill set in detail.
- Energetic, positive demeanor with a lively approach to work.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a caseload of about 40 students.
Interview Process:Candidates will undergo a two-step interview process, first with the Special Education Coordinator and subsequently with the School Principal.
Work Location:This position is onsite only at an elementary school in Aurora, CO.
