A Registered Nurse role is available on the night shift hours of 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, offered on a contract basis in Santa Fe, NM. This position involves delivering patient-centered care across a range of age groups, ensuring quality and safety standards consistent with set clinical protocols. The role demands coordination and implementation of care plans, communication tailored to patient developmental needs, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care tailored to the specific age and condition of patients.

- Maintain clear and concise communication with patients, families, and healthcare staff.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Current New Mexico RN license or a valid Compact state license.
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP from the American Heart Association.
- Proven knowledge and skills appropriate for the specific patient population.
- Experience in a healthcare environment focusing on patient care services preferred.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:This role involves working in clean, well-lit, ventilated, smoke-free areas with exposure to infectious diseases and bloodborne pathogens. The nurse must be able to manage physically demanding tasks such as patient positioning, pushing equipment, and moving extensively throughout the shift. The position requires good sensory abilities, manual dexterity, and the capacity to handle emergency situations calmly and professionally.
