Overview

We are seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) who is experienced in both clinical procedures and front office operations, including insurance verification, scheduling, and treatment plan presentation. Key Responsibilities

Front Office:

• Greet and check in patients with a welcoming demeanor

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to scheduling

• Schedule and confirm appointments via phone, email, or dental software

• Present treatment plans clearly, including procedures, estimated costs, and payment options

• Answer patient inquiries regarding treatments, clinic policies, and procedures

Back Office:

• Assist the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures

• Prepare, sterilize, and organize dental instruments and treatment rooms

• Take dental X-rays

• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment

• Perform basic lab tasks as needed

• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

• Order and manage dental inventory and supplies

• Comply with all infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification in Texas

• High school diploma or GED

• Current CPR certification

• Proficient in taking dental X-rays

• Comfortable presenting treatment plans to patients

• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment

• Experience with dental software (Open Dental preferred but not required)

• Nitrous Oxide Monitoring certification is a plus
