Job Description

Position Overview

Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families.

Location and Hours of Position

PHN Rochester Health Center: 176 Virginia Avenue, Rochester, PA 15074

The general office hours for this position are Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm (with one evening rotation).

NO WEEKENDS

Compensation

Position starts at $20.00 per hour, however, PHN recognizes experience, education and site location when determining wage.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing
  • Infection Control and strong clinical knowledge
  • Administering Medication
  • Previous venipuncture and injection experience preferred
  • Previous experience in calling prescriptions under a providers direction
  • Computer proficient
