In it's reimagining, the 407 room downtown hotel recalls a grand European home.
This individual is passionate, positive, creative, and cares deeply about the team that they lead. Primary responsibilities include everything from organizing the Pastry team for success, sourcing product, working closely with the hotel team, and planning and execution of new menu items all while ensuring that the hotel meets its financial targets. In addition, this role will serve to establish standards of excellence within the hotel’s overall F&B program and work closely with the Executive Chef to facilitate a seamless production program for all Food & Beverage outlets. We will hire for passion, culture, positive energy and willingness to do what it takes while maintaining humility and grace under pressure.
Requested Tasks-Preparing ingredients and handling baking and other kitchen equipment -Creating pastries, baked goods, and confections, by following a set recipe -Developing new recipes for seasonal menus -Decorating pastries and desserts to ensure beautiful and tasteful presentation -Ordering new supplies, ingredients, and equipment when needed and within budget
Requested Capabilities-Prior experience as a Pastry Chef highly preferred-Innovative and creative personality -A passion for all things pastry and confectionary
