As a Software Update Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of software
updates into control units prior to installation in our Chattanooga assembly plant. You will be responsible for
setting up and monitoring flash stations, providing valuable insights on capacity and efficiency, as well as
analyzing errors and quickly introduce countermeasures. This position requires a strong technical background,
attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
Install and configure flash stations for control units according to specified guidelines (Hardware, Software,
adapter, tools, label printer, design and build adapters, etc.).
Create Software update macros and write environmental simulations for part updates.
Conduct thorough testing of software updates to validate functionality and performance.
Write work instructions for software updates and publish them for 3rd party support staff.
