JOB SUMMARY:

The Manager of Strategic Operations has responsibility for supporting the development of Board presentation materials, internal and external communications, as well as collaborating with executive leadership to provide analytical support and leadership of project-based strategic initiatives driving clinical outcomes, growth, operational efficiency, and financial performance across the Innovista enterprise. The ideal candidate for this role will have both the analytical ability to drive data-driven decision-making, communication skills to create multifaceted assets for clients and patients, and clear and concise presentation materials for executive audiences.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop analysis and presentation materials for regular meetings of company Board of Directors
  • Support creating and continuously evaluating performance metrics dashboards to drive improvement and codify methods for senior leadership report outs
  • Develop strategies, best practices, and communications to improve Innovista’s ability inform and influence internal and external audiences and stakeholders
  • Develop patient, payer and provider facing assets in partnership with Marketing to support growth enablement activities
  • Serve as liaison between cross-functional teams to collect and synthesize information, identify OKRs, and create recommendations on business strategy for executive-level audiences
  • Assist senior leaders in the design, evaluation, and prioritization of transformational initiatives from conceptual development to achieving realized value
  • Lead project management for strategic initiatives driving better clinical and financial performance for Innovista’s value-based care contracts and primary care delivery; provide reports to senior leadership to track, monitor, and review initiatives, progress, and results for assigned responsibilities
  • Conduct market analyses and business intelligence research relative to managed care and care delivery landscape for growth and service excellence opportunities
  • Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders in leadership positions of business units, including partnerships and joint ventures, and organize cross-functional teams to conduct governance activities

Requirements:

  • 6+ years’ experience in healthcare provider, payer, or managed care setting with an emphasis on strategy, operations, or related functions
  • Management Consulting experience with a focus in healthcare highly preferred
  • Ability to travel on site up to 25% of the time required
  • Experience in leading large-scale cross functional initiatives preferred
  • Experience with Excel and financial modeling experience preferred
  • Experience in managing healthcare vendor relationships preferred
  • Experience in corporate and patient-facing communications
  • Excellent presentation-making ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to clearly convey complex ideas and ”tell a story” to an executive-level audience
  • Financial modeling/Excel-based quantitative analysis expertise
  • Analytical rigor in problem-solving and decision-making; ability to leverage qualitative and quantitative information to support data-driven decision-making
  • Project management and tracking capabilities
  • Ability to influence across functional areas and seniority levels
