<h3>Job Description</h3>
<p>We are looking for a motivated and experienced Veterinary Assistant for Value Pet Clinic (PetCare Clinic) in Puyallup.<br />The perfect candidate would be a team player with a positive attitude, reliable and ready to work.</p>
<p>Duties include but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Assisting in treatment plans and helping doctors</li>
<li>Checking pets into rooms, taking weights/temps and getting history</li>
<li>Administrating medications, drugs, injections, etc.</li>
<li>Assisting in blood draws, lab work, urinalysis, radiographs, etc.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and sterile work environment</li>
<li>Assisting with Triages/presenting to Doctor</li>
<li>Providing animal and customer care</li>
<li>Discharge patients/go over after surgery care</li>
<li>Fill medications</li>
<li>Assisting throughout the Hospital as needed (general cleaning, helping out, etc.)</li>
<li>Patient restraint and handling</li>
</ul>
<p>This position requires providing excellent care to animals, good communications skills, team working skills, and ability to work Saturdays. 4 10's 8am-7pm</p>
<p>Experience: Minimum 1 year of Veterinary Experience (REQUIRED) Med clerks license is a plus but not required</p>
