C5T is currently seeking a Data Analyst with transportation experience and strong writing skills. The selected employee shall collect and aggregate data (e.g., airfield and seaport infrastructure characteristics, country-level economic or geopolitical data) that support strategic modeling of the en route network, development of the ERIMP, and other analytical products that support USTRANSCOM global posture.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining access and proficiency with historical cargo movement databases (e.g., Single Mobility System, Global Decision Support System, etc.)
  • Provide analytical support for nodal site assessments with the ability to use the Analysis of Mobility Platform - Airfield Simulation Tool to assess airfield capability and report recommendations to improve military support. Airfield or seaport site survey visits may be required to support this initiative.
  • Build and maintain a repository of nodal reports and provide a means to disseminate ERIMP products and supporting documentation to the community of stakeholders through NGA Google Earth servers and Intellipedia.
  • Support ERIMP product review processes by developing and maintaining comment resolution matrices and support the acceptance or rejection of change recommendations into relevant documents.
  • Collect supporting data and score forces, footprint and agreement gaps identified for the USTRANSCOM Posture Plan using Logical Decisions for Windows software or other COTS software.
  • Develop point or issue papers on nodal locations that leverage nodal data collection or historical cargo data pulls from available sources to support or deny infrastructure improvements at key USTRANSCOM nodes.

Qualifications:

  • Secret Level Security Clearance required - The applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for classified information access.   • The qualified candidate must have five years' experience and a bachelor's degree in a business or a related field. (Experience in place of education will be considered.)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional time-management and task prioritization skills required.
  • All C5T team members must have strong interpersonal skills to interact with our customers and team members. Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills, along with analytical and problem-solving capabilities, are a must.
