Job Description

Job Summary
Urban Sprouts is looking for an administrative office support person to support the organization and leadership team. This is a salaried position, five days a week, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm full time. This individual will work closely with our COO and CEO in administrative capacity.
Responsibilities and Duties

Daily Operations· General administrative support for the leadership team.· Human Resources support.· Finance support.· Facilities management including scheduling, coordination, and oversight of maintenance team.· Maintain, at all times, high quality childcare standards based on developmentally appropriate practices.· Manage front desk including answering phones and accepting deliveries: open packages and putting items away/handing out to classrooms· Support classrooms as needed· Point of contact for first aid as neededOverall Operations· Maintenance/repair scheduling and acting as the point person on the day of work completion· Supervision/Communication with Cleaning Crew· Point of contact for IT issues and support coordination.· Supply Orderso Diapers and wipeso Office supplies (recycling used ink to Quill for some money back)o Classroom supplieso Maintenance and Cleaning supplies· Organizing and maintaining office files.Accounting

Staff• Employee birthday and anniversary calendar maintenance (give out cards and gift cards)• Onboarding new hires• Health insurance enrollment for new hires, plus open enrollment activities• Monitor, verify and correct employee time in Tadpoles• Request off forms filing once they've been processed by Andrea or Jill• Keeping blank employment folders ready• Reminders and communications for deadlines

Qualifications and Skills

  • 3+ years experience in admin role
  • Experience in non profit world or early childhood preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Experience with Microsoft, especially Excel, Outlook, Google and Word required.
