POSITION SUMMARY
1) Provide support on strategic sales management issues (sales contracts, scheduled and ad-hoc sales forecast reports, marketing activities, new business development, etc.) 2) Coordinate the review of and provide business and legal input on key customer agreements; provide balance between legal requirements, corporate guidelines and business needs. 3) Provide input on vital business communications from TCA management team to sales and marketing force on strategy, direction and objectives management. 4) Provide support to BA&P Dept. staff (Corporate Information Analyst and Business Administration & Planning Paralegal). 5) Act as liaison between TCA and TDK-J; provide to TCA management team the Japanese HQ perspective on and analysis of global business issues.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
•
Support effective communication between Japan and TCA leadership.
BA&P staff support, including providing business insight and background behind department duties and functions.
•
Analysis and reporting to management (both TCA and TEI) on business-critical trends and issues, including sales forecasts, market trends, etc. (Measurement: Accurate and timely reports, as required.)
•
Management and continuous improvement sales and management tools. (Measurement: Continued improvements based on analysis and improvement suggestions.)
•
Coordinate communication with key R&D personnel throughout the global TDK organization in order to address new business opportunities (manage New Product Development Request (NPDR process, patent related information).

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business related field preferred or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- Minimum of three years of experience managing relationships between divisions/departments/customers in the US and Japan (Preferred).
- Customer facing experience preferred, ideally Direct Outside Sales experience in passive components or other TDK product.
Computer Skills:
Micro Soft Office, Tableau (preferred) SalesForce, Teams, Powerpoint and 365
