Salary: 17.00

SUMMARY:

Receives and ships company products and materials in accordance with management directions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cycle counts – perform regular physical counts of inventory in stock to ensure accuracy
  • Kitting job orders – pull parts from inventory gathered into a tub (or kit) for manufacturing floor for daily assemblies
  • Receiving materials – perform data entry of incoming purchase orders, verifying incoming materials.
  • Staging Sales orders – pull sales orders from inventory for daily shipments, staging sales order for Quality Control checks and verifications
  • Shipping – pack sales orders for daily shipments, knowledgeable of domestic and international shipping requirements.
  • Any additional duties requested by management

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Ability to read and write fluent English.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to utilize a computer to enter data and prepare reports.
  • Ability to distinguish surface details and characteristics.
  • Ability to perform repetitive and non-repetitive physical tasks.
  • 2 years’ experience in shipping and receiving environment.
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, highly trainable, and responsible.
  • Team player with a ‘do it right the first-time’ attitude.
  • Solves routine problems independently and with a continuous improvement focus.
  • Effective identification and utilization of resources and time.
  • Good technical, analytical and communication skills.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Qualified candidates should be able to fluent English. The applicant must possess the ability to write routine reports and correspondences.

OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 

Candidates must have a strong command of computer desktop tools such as MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) to assist in completing essential duties. Effectively demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have a willingness to constantly be learning. Syteline experience is a preferred but not required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the person is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, reach with arms and hands, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk or hear.  The person must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30lbs. WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the person is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time and an air-conditioned and heated office.  The noise level is occasionally high.
