- Relay orders to the kitchen and bar promptly, monitoring order progress to ensure timely delivery to guests.
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with established presentation standards, demonstrating attention to detail.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with meals and address any concerns or requests promptly and courteously.
- Anticipate guests' needs and proactively offer refills, condiments, or additional items to enhance their dining experience.
- Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with efficiency and professionalism.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and coordinated service delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas, including dining areas and server stations.
- Uphold hygiene and safety standards at all times, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines.
Requirements and Skills:
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and order delivery.
- Capacity to remain calm and composed under pressure, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Basic math skills for processing payments and handling transactions.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
