Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced ***Certified Medical Assistant***.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience required.
This is a FULL TIME/TEMP TO HIRE position requiring availability between the hours of 8 AM-4:30/5 PM, Monday through Friday, located in Norfolk, VA (23503) and one day a week in the Virginia Beach office (23456).
Responsibilities :
A Day in the Life of a Certified Medical Assistant for Allergy :
As a CMA for the allergy specialty, you will be responsible for rooming patients, verifying medications and updating electronic health records, documentation of chief complaints, bedside assistance with a provider, MUST HAVE INJECTION EXPERIENCE preferably in the allergy field, and any other duties as assigned.
Requirements for the Certified Medical Assistant :
- Required: 1+ year of experience working as a Medical Assistant (preferably in the allergy field)
- Required: Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA, CCMA, or RMA required)
- Required: BLS
- Required: COVID vaccination
- Required: Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen
- Required: Must be reliable and a quick learner and have the ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment
- Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Required: Injection experience
Preferred Qualifications for the CMA :
- Preferred: Allergy experience
