GRAPHIC DESIGNER | FOUR DAY WORK WEEK | HIRING UP TO $46,641

What will you be doing?

As our Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for establishing creative direction for the Council. You will also conceptualize and create graphics and digital marketing assets that help us deliver on our mission to build girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place!

Every day, you will have the opportunity to creatively design and produce a wide range of marketing materials, including print, video, digital communication, social media, clothing - and girl scout patches - within brand standards. Every week, you will prioritize and manage multiple projects within design and budget parameters while ensuring all assigned projects are completed accurately, creatively and with care. You will also meet with your supervisor and internal clients to both receive feedback on drafts or concepts and provide options and expertise as it relates to size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, style and size of type, layout design, esthetic concepts, and more. Periodically, you will serve as a resource for capturing and recording marketing content, coordinate audio visual needs at special events and help with special projects. The Graphic Designer will also have the opportunity to contribute to short- and long-range strategies, plans, policies, goals, and budgets for the Marketing & Communications Department. To thrive in this role, you must be original, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and be able to accept feedback on your work without taking it personally.

The Graphic Designer reports to the Vice President of Marketing and joins a small team that also includes a Digital Marketing Manager.

Who are we seeking?

  • A Graphic Designer who can work independently within a collaborative environment.
  • A dynamic candidate with demonstrated proficiency in the design and execution of marketing materials including printed collateral materials, animations and short videos.
  • A Graphic Designer who has experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator) and Office 365.
  • A tech-savvy Graphic Designer who is comfortable working at an organization that is transitioning to a near-paperless environment.
  • A Graphic Designer that is organized, detail-oriented and possesses excellent time management skills who can plan, organize, and prioritize work, to successfully meet multiple deadlines.

What else will you need?

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Preference for degrees or coursework in graphic design, communications, marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years' recent, relevant experience required.
  • Bilingual (Spanish or French) preferred.

What will you get?

The hiring range for this position is $43,565 - $46,641.

This is an exempt, in-based Graphic Designer position located in our Lake Worth Headquarters. Office hours for our four-day workweek are Monday- Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. with a half hour lunch; some evening and weekend hours may be required to meet business needs.
