Experience Requirement:
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on construction experience, particularly on public projects
- Completion of two years of technical or construction education post-secondary, such as junior college or technical institutional programs
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficiency in public infrastructure construction practices.
- Familiarity with current Caltrans specifications.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
- Desired: Certification as an Erosion, Sediment & Storm Water Inspector (CESSWI), although not mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the execution of contractor’s tasks, materials, and overall construction progress to ensure adherence to contract specifications and timeline.
