JOB TITLE: Commercial Truck Driver

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for transporting and delivering goods to the customer in a safe and timely manner. This position does not handle freight at loading or unloading.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver goods to customers.
- Records cargo deliveries.
- Refuels and cleans vehicle.
- Reports road incidents to the dispatcher.
- Follows traffic laws.
- Inspects trucks and record issues.
- Follows accident procedures.
- Keeps an activity log and log hours.
- Reports mechanical problems to maintenance personnel.
- Deliver goods to the location on time.
- Maintains a positive attitude with customers.
- Keeps Commercial Driver License up to date.
- Keeps Medical Certification up to date.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Class A CDL or Commercial Driver License.
- 2 years verifiable driving experience.
- Other skills required:
- Must pass drug and alcohol test.
- Must have clean driving record.
- Must provide a medical certificate.
