Job Description
Shipping & Receiving Clerk Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in the Rolling Prairie area that has grown to be a major producer of engineered plastic components and services. This company has been delivering quality products for a wide range of industries including appliance, medical, automotive, electronics, and many others. Shipping & Receiving Clerk Job Summary:
- Monday – Thursday schedule with 10hr days
- Retrieve boxed product from Quality department
- Palletize boxes of product
- Label product for shipping according to customer specifications
- Utilize various shipping software programs (UPS worldship, Fedex, YRC) to create labels
- Complete paperwork and label pallets with packing slips/bill of lading
- Organize/prioritize loads within the shipping area
- Effectively communicate with truck drivers and other coworkers
- Load/unload trucks using a forklift or pallet jack
- Verify all incoming shipments and confirm receipts and quantities
- Enter receipts of goods into database
- General housekeeping
- Additional duties as assigned
Shipping & Receiving Clerk Qualifications:
- Able to stand for entire shift
- Ability to lift heavy objects, 25lbs frequently and up to 60lbs rarely
