We are a locally owned franchise of one of the fastest growing upscale thrift store brands in the country. We buy and sell new and used clothing everyday!
Responsibilities:
- Work in the areas of Merchandising, Operations, Customer Service, and HR
- Conduct interviews for new candidates
- Conduct performance reviews for current team members
- Ensure every customer has a positive shopping experience
- Hire, train, supervise and mentor a team of Associates
- Manage the daily activity of the sales floor, backroom/backstock, and inventory
- Ensure store stays clean and organized
- Review reports daily to track inventory and ensure we have the maximum amount of product on the sales floor
- Improve store layout and efficiency
- This is a salaried position with varying hours
Requirements:
- Two years of retail leadership experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Manager
- Excellent interpersonal, strong communication, and follow through skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and empower a team of 10-15 employees
- Work with and embrace a very diverse group of employees and customers
- Reliable transportation
- Must be available some evenings, weekends, & holidays
- Must be familiar with both men and women's (young adult) fashion trends
