Quality Control Technician
Job Description
Quality Control Technician Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in the Rolling Prairie area that has grown to be a major producer of engineered plastic components and services. This company has been delivering quality products for a wide range of industries including appliance, medical, automotive, electronics, and many others. Quality Control Technician Job Summary:
- Pay range of $16 - 18/hr
- Monday – Thursday schedule with 10hr days
- Help ensure processes and procedures are ISO 9001:2015 compliant and compliant with any other standards that may apply
- Responsible for verifying first piece and end of run part samples from the injection molding presses
- Conduct gaging and physical measurements utilizing, calipers, micrometers, Micro-vu, optical comparator and other measuring techniques
- Identify dimensional and visual defects using a quality standard checklist
- Complete and maintain records and record all data gathered from quality tests
- Approve and reject parts based on test results and standards
- Coordinate with plant manager and quality manager in effort to resolve root cause for part rejects
- Inspect finished product and conduct dock audits
- Conduct incoming part inspections
- Develop and execute layouts & PPAPS
- Work with Quality manager to address customer complaints
- Assist in maintaining company safety policies and procedures
- Any other duties/responsibilities as needed
Shipping & Receiving Clerk Qualifications:
- Strong math skills
- Strong leadership abilities and good communication skills
- Understanding basic blueprint reading principles, understanding quality principles, and practices
- Experienced in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint)
- MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN QUALITY
- Knowledge of ISO and other related quality system standards
- 20/20 vision corrected
