Overview of Responsibilities

The Donor Relations Specialist is pivotal in cultivating and maintaining relationships with donors to support PWNA’s mission and goals. This position requires effective communication, organizational, interpersonal skills, and ethics to engage with donors effectively. The Donor Relations Specialist collaborates with various departments within the organization to ensure donor stewardship, retention, and growth that further connect donors to the mission of PWNA and the importance of philanthropy.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions

· Cultivate donor relationships through personalized communication and engagement strategies.

· Serve as the primary contact for donor inquiries and provide updates on PWNA programs and initiatives.

· Monitor and respond to PWNA’s electronic and telephonic accounts and donor communications professionally and promptly.

· Develop and implement stewardship plans to recognize and retain donors.

· Collaborating with colleagues across departments and participating in professional development opportunities.

· Monitor and track donor interactions, gifts, and preferences using PWNA’s organizational database.

· Complete departmental reports and other duties assigned.

Experience/Position Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as nonprofit management or business administration.

· Previous experience in fundraising or donor relations preferred.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with attention to detail.

· Proficiency in donor management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

· Commitment to PWNA's mission and ethical standards.

Will be required to occasionally come into corporate office.

· Willingness to learn and apply new skills, technologies, and fundraising strategies to enhance donor relations efforts.
