Radio Broadcaster
Brooke Communications Inc. in Roseburg, Oregon, is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Broadcaster in Roseburg, who will capture the audience’s attention and retain it. We are looking for someone who can connect with the community and keep them entertained and informed. This is a full-time position with 401k, medical, dental and vision insurance and YMCA membership. (This is an in-office position NOT remote!)
Responsibilities:
- Sports and news reporting
- Show producer
- Play-by-play duties
- Social media
- Show hosting
- Podcasting
- Promotions
- Learning operations of the sports and news stations as a back-up to station managers
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
- On-air experience
- Play-by-play experience preferred
- Experience with Adobe Audition preferred
- Experience with Adobe photoshop, video editing a plus
- Strong writing skills for broadcast and print
- Social media savvy
- Basic understanding of broadcast technology and willingness to learn
