POSITION OVERVIEW
At Allmark Door, we are looking for an enthusiastic Field Site Superintendent to join our Project Department with a strong technical background in the commercial door industry. Our Field Site Superintendent will be responsible for leading a team of project technicians in the field. A strong knowledge of overhead doors, dock equipment, and pedestrian doors is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Provide field leadership to a team of 8-10 technicians and subcontractors

Oversee day to day field activities and manage a group of Project Installation Technicians

Monitor project installations for quality and to to ensure standards are met at various stages of the projects

Deliver effective weekly safety toolbox meetings and attend daily pre-task safety meetings

Travel locally between multiple job sites and simultaneously manage work loads of individual projects

Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation

Allocate resources for assigned projects

Develop comprehensive understanding of project strategy and commitments including financial goals, scheduling, logistics, phasing, milestones, and inspections

Ensure assigned jobsite operations are in compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget and to quality standards

Collaborate with clients, project coordinators, and construction engineers to ensure project scope is met effectively and efficiently

Serve as the technical spokesperson for the project to key internal and external stakeholders

Review development plans including technical designs, processes, resource usage, task estimates, quality and risk for technical completion and quality.
RELEVANT JOB COMPETENCIES

Superb analytical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills in the commercial door industry is a plus

Strong knowledge of Overhead Doors, Dock Equipment and Pedestrian Doors is a plus

Ability to interpret construction drawings, blueprints and specifications

Excellent verbal communications skills, especially when addressing customers, clients or official visitors

Strong time management and teamwork skills

Creative and detail oriented

The ability to make important decisions in a fast-paced environment

OSHA 30-Hour Construction Card valid within the past 5 years a plus

Certified as a First Aid/CPR Provider or Instructor a plus
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

At least 3 years experience as a Construction Superintendent or project management experience

Installation or service experience as a technician in the commercial door industry is a plus
-
Technical Engineer, Project Manager, Design Engineer or years servicing as a project lead
