Membership Service Representative
Job Description
Position Classification: Fulltime; M-F; $15.00/hour plus benefits and performance pay
General Functions:
Responsible for ensuring accurate membership records in MTS, validating rates for charging, and collecting fees for pay-for-service members. Communicate with new, existing, and departing participants. Answer questions about enrollment, charges, and Parent Portal. Enroll eligible participants in a proper subsidy program. Customer Retention and Recruitment.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist parents/guardians with accounts
Verify/Adjust customer's rate
Enroll customers in eligible subsidies
Collections and dis-enrollments
Manage MTS accounts
Communicate with parents in meetings, via phone & email regarding enrollment and balances
Produce statements & reports
Assist at sites as requested
Call Withdrawals/Disenrollment
Pull Pending Enrollments Weekly
Use Saving Tools/Resources to Retain Members
Monitor Account Balances Daily
Notate accounts after each call
Avoid Delinquent Accounts past two weeks/one week during Summer
Other duties as requested or assigned
Required Experience/Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent and experience with customer service and account management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Associates Degree or higher preferred
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Ability to Speak and Read Spanish clearly and fluently (Bilingual) is a preferred
Understand Organization's philosophy, vision, and goals
Deal diplomatically with the general public
Project a professional demeanor
Demonstrate strong interpersonal, customer service, typing, and computer skills
Read and write in English and use arithmetic skills to accurately complete daily assignments.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively communicate with management, co-workers, and customers.
Ability to analyze and solve problems in a constantly changing and high-pressured work environment.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
