Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct pricing studies to assess profitability of specific insurance products.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Analyze factors affecting insurance rates and recommend adjustments.
- Research competitor offerings and pricing strategies in the marketplace.
- Collaborate with data analysts on modeling projects to support business decisions.
- Partner with marketing teams to optimize advertising effectiveness.
- Analyze usage-based insurance data and recommend pricing actions.
- Perform trend analysis to understand changes in claim frequency and severity.
- Analyze the impact of new technologies on insurance claims.
This is a hybrid position with both on-site and remote work options.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of Property & Casualty (P&C) actuarial experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred: Relevant professional designation (e.g., ACAS, FCAS).
