🔬 Medical Technologist - Bayonet Point, FL
💵 Salary Range: $56,347 per year - $84,074 per year
🌴 $10K sign-on bonus for night shifts.
🕐 Shifts: Nights (6:30 PM - 7 AM), Rotating Weekends
Join Our Expert Team: Seeking a dedicated Medical Technologist to perform critical clinical laboratory testing in areas such as Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology. This position plays a key role in patient care by ensuring accurate laboratory results.
Role and Responsibilities:
- 🧪 Conduct routine and stat laboratory testing and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- 💻 Utilize laboratory information systems effectively.
- 🛠️ Manage and perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- 📈 Handle quality control procedures and documentation to maintain lab standards.
- 🧬 Assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the department supervisor.
- 🔄 Manage inventory of reagents and supplies, ensuring their optimal use.
Qualifications:
- 🎓 Associate Degree required; Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology preferred.
- 🧪 Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Technologist.
- 📜 State of Florida Technologist License required or ability to obtain during interview process.
- 🌟 Proficiency in handling complex laboratory procedures and equipment.
