POSITION SUMMARY

This in-house position for Tropic Fish, Customer Success Representative, is responsible for handling the company house accounts to build sales and profitability, utilizing appropriate selling practices and various methods to introduce and promote both new and existing products/services to current and prospective customers responsibly and professionally.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following.

  • Introduce, promote, and sell new and existing products/services over the phone, utilizing proper selling practices to existing and prospective customers.
  • Perform daily needs of taking accurate phone orders and entering them into the ordering system.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of positive rapport with business establishments.
  • Achieve and exceed sales goals and targets as directed by the Director of Sales to drive sales revenue and profitability.
  • Maintain a concise record of account information, including contacts, phone #, email addresses, special requirements, etc.
  • Work regularly with the Office Manager to determine strategies, price schedules, discounts, promotions, contracts, marketing programs, etc.
  • Prepare various daily, weekly, and monthly reports for review
  • Utilize the Company portal to retrieve customer information, stock status information, item codes, etc, to ensure the correctness of the order
  • Supply Office Manager with information and reports about customer needs, problems, interests, competition, marketplace information, etc. Provide recommendations to resolve issues
  • Perform product demonstrations if required
  • Communicate and update customers on production issues, delays, concerns, and solutions.
  • Be a contributing member of the Sales team and Company efforts

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma; College Degree preferred
  • One year of sales experience in the Seafood industry and/or two years of experience in Product Sales
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a high degree of judgment, especially when working with information that is confidential.
  • Proven selling, communication, time management, organizational, and negotiation skills
  • Competent in computer skills: Microsoft Office Application-Excel, Word Outlook, etc. Strong technical abilities
  • High level of interpersonal skills; Proven record of establishing positive rapport with various businesses and the community
  • Must have a valid Driver's license, current registration, and vehicle insurance documents. Clean abstract required
