General Overview
As a Sonographer, you are responsible for getting clear imaging results, which requires proper use of the equipment and keeping patients calm and informed throughout the ultrasound procedure. If a patient has any questions or concerns about the procedure, you can provide answers and assistance.
Job Description
<ul>
<li>Travel to various healthcare sites in the area</li>
<li>Perform diagnostic exams using portable ultrasound equipment</li>
<li>Process and upload images to a PACS system</li>
<li>Gather and complete appropriate paperwork</li>
</ul>
Requirements
<ul>
<li>ARDMS RVT or RVS and ARDMS AB/OB or CCI or ARRT </li>
<li>Maintain CME for license and certification</li>
<li>Must have valid driver’s license with a clean driving record</li>
<li>Must have reliable transportation for work</li>
<li>Ability to work independently</li>
<li>Exceptional communication skills</li>
<li>Be able to work in a fast paced healthcare environment</li>
<li>Strong computer and software skills</li>
<li>Night and weekend availability</li>
<li>Previous Mobile Experience a Plus</li>
</ul>
Education Requirements
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED</li>
<li>Bachelor or associate degree in ultrasound technology</li>
</ul>
