Job Summary
This position includes estimating of construction jobs, negation of a fair settlement with the insurance company or payee source, selection of subcontractors to perform the work, monitoring the production of the work being performed, handling any customer supplements or change orders. The job will be closed, and a final walk performed by the Construction Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Secure and estimate construction projects
- Assign the proper subcontractor to the job
- Build proper budgets for subcontractors to meet the overall job profit margin.
- Oversee and manage construction projects
- Assist as needed in collections
Qualifications
- Excellent Customer Service/Communication skills - You will interact with customers on a daily basis.
- A proven background in residential construction
- Proven ability to oversee and manage 30 to 40 projects at one time
- Computer estimation skills as well as proficient with Microsoft products. (Xactimate knowledge preferred.)
- Insurance knowledge helpful, but not required.
- Must be able to stand; walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel reach with hands & arms and talk or hear.
- Must be able to regularly lift and or move up to 25 pounds.
