Job Description

Assist in all areas of engineering to include: Quality, Mechanical, Production, and Drafting.

Summary:

Enthusiastic and hardworking with a good eye for detail. You will be responsible for performing standardized quality control checks on our company products to ensure they meet the required legal and company standards for safety and quality. You may also be required to maintain calibrated test equipment, prepare test data, and identify areas for quality control improvement.

To ensure success, you should have a strong working knowledge of mathematical concepts, excellent visual awareness, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Ultimately, a top-class Technician can efficiently monitor the integrity and quality of products without impeding production rates

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols
  • Work with external resources to ensure quality design, performance and resolve issues
  • Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place
  • Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment
  • Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications
  • Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction
  • Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements
  • May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality
  • Ability to perform effective root cause analysis investigations
  • Ensures continuous compliance to the NSF-61 & RTP-1 standard
  • Develop and analyze new work instructions to achieve consistent quality that meets applicable standards
  • Communicate professionally with team members issues to improve overall quality.
  • Review and work with/train team members in lane on quality of laminate process.
  • Verify dimensions to prints on in house manufactured items.
  • Prioritize work to facilitate tanks meeting production schedule goal/deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, including ASME, ASTM and ANSI
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Broad knowledge of OSHA and EPA statutes.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must be able to climb into, onto, and out of tanks, climb ladders or scaffolding.
  • Ability to directly communicate verbally required
  • Pay very close attention to detail and accuracy
