Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years PSYCH RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This role focuses on delivering specialized psychiatric nursing care during night shifts in a supportive hospital environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement nursing care tailored to psychiatric patients.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Current New Mexico RN license or a valid Compact State license.
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification.
- CPI training or equivalent certification.
- Knowledgeable in psychiatric nursing principles and sensitive to patient rights.
- Strong communication skills appropriate for diverse patient ages and conditions.

Schedule & Contract Details:
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Physical & Environmental Requirements:
- Ability to manage emergency and crisis situations.
- Physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, walking, and manual patient handling.
- Work environment is clean, well-lit, and smoke-free but may include exposure to infectious diseases in some patient care areas.
