Job Description
We are seeking a B2B Outside Sales Representative to provide world class customer experience for our solar installer partners by assessing their needs and proposing customized solutions. You will offer informed guidance on solar-electric (PV) systems, including alternatives available in the market, to help position the company as a preferred solar and energy storage distributor. This role directly supports our broader goal of promoting long-term, stable growth in renewable energy through reliable partnerships and practical solutions.
Note: Solar industry experience is required for this position.
Location: This is a remote position and you will visit clients throughout Southern California and Las Vegas.
Key Functions:
- Participate in targeted sales campaigns and other joint sales/marketing events.
- Develop, maintain, and strengthen B2B relationships within the South West territory.
- Collaborate with regional leadership and operations staff to highlight the organization’s resources and expertise during the sales process to build and reinforce customer confidence in our capability and value.
- Plan and carry out sales strategies and action plans designed to meet or exceed revenue and customer expectations.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of solar industry developments and monitor competitor strengths and weaknesses in the marketplace.
- You will become an expert on our service offerings, products, and systems to improve customer partnership, loyalty, and retention.

Essential Background and Experience:
- At least two years of solar and B2B sales experience.
- Solid understanding of the solar industry and current product offerings.
- Comfortable using CRM tools.
- Proficient with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Able to travel within the assigned region up to approximately 60% of the time.
- Experience in distribution is beneficial.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
