Case Manager Opportunity

We're seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Case Manager to join our remote field team. In this role, you'll provide essential support to field Consultants while managing critical case data. The ideal candidate is eager to learn about the structured settlements industry, adapts quickly to new challenges, and excels at managing multiple priorities in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage case files efficiently, opening new files within one day of receipt and closing files within one week of notification
  • Gather and confirm current information on open/offer files using standard intake procedures
  • Prepare comprehensive settlement proposals that meet client needs
  • Maintain accurate records in our case management system (Resolver)
  • Manage life insurance company files and office documentation
  • Update case diaries and files in EDISON within one day of notification
  • Generate and analyze diary reports for effective case management
  • Maintain inventory and promotional materials as needed
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports for Consultants
  • Provide general administrative support to Consultants and Senior Case Managers
  • Contribute to special projects and other responsibilities as directed

What You'll Bring

  • Demonstrated reliability and strong communication skills
  • Self-sufficiency in remote work environments
  • 0-2 years of office experience in a support function
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong administrative skills and ability to handle multiple competing priorities
  • Aptitude for learning new systems, including our case management platform
  • Effective written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Financial Settlements, legal, or insurance industries (beneficial but not required)
  • Bilingual skills (advantageous but not required)

Work Environment

  • 40-hour work week with flexibility based on business needs
  • Regular verbal and written communication
  • Computer-based position requiring extended periods of sitting
  • Dexterity to operate computer keyboard, mouse, and other components
  • Light physical effort (handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently)
