Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, onsite School Psychologist position offers the opportunity to support student success at an elementary school in Denver, CO. The contract runs from ASAP through May 22nd, providing a chance to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic school environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff to develop effective intervention strategies
  • Provide counseling and support to students facing academic, emotional, or behavioral challenges
  • Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to team decision-making
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Professional Special Services License issued by the Colorado Department of Education
  • Demonstrated experience as a school psychologist, with a caseload of approximately 40 students preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present experience and expertise clearly during the interview process
  • Energetic, positive, and lively demeanor that fosters rapport with students and staff
  • Commitment to working onsite full-time to support the school community

This role features a two-step interview process: first, with the Special Education Coordinator, followed by a discussion with the School Principal to assess fit and expertise.
