We are seeking an experienced Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator / Manager to work closely with our Doctor and support clinical and operational excellence across multiple orthodontic locations. This role is highly visible and patient-facing, combining treatment coordination, case conversion, scheduling oversight, and financial coordination.
The ideal candidate will have a strong orthodontic background, preferably with hands-on assisting experience, and the ability to lead, organize, and convert treatment plans into active cases. This position will travel alongside Dr. Sharma between locations and act as a key extension of her care team.
Key Responsibilities
Provider & Practice Support
- Shadow and work directly with the Doctor across multiple practice locations
- Travel with the provider as needed between offices (Cumming, Norcross, Decatur)
- Serve as a clinical and operational liaison between the doctor, team, and patients
Treatment Coordination & Case Conversion
- Present orthodontic treatment plans to patients and families
- Convert treatment plans into accepted cases through education, confidence, and trust
- Review treatment options, timelines, and expectations with patients
- Coordinate contracts, financial agreements, and payment plans
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and completed prior to treatment start
Scheduling & Team Coordination
- Oversee provider and team scheduling to maximize efficiency and productivity
- Coordinate patient scheduling to support treatment flow and case starts
- Work closely with front office and clinical teams to ensure smooth daily operations
Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Review insurance benefits related to orthodontic treatment
- Discuss financial arrangements clearly and professionally with patients
- Ensure compliance with practice policies and procedures
- Track case acceptance and production metrics
Clinical Support (As Needed)
- Assist chairside when required, leveraging orthodontic assisting experience
- Support clinical team during busy periods or provider transitions
- Maintain knowledge of orthodontic procedures and workflowsQualifications
- Previous experience as an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator required
