Inventory Control Clerk
$24/hr. - $26/hr.
7:00am - 4:00pm
Mon - Fri + OT
Aerospace manufacturing company in Inglewood is seeking experienced inventory control clerks to join their team!
Must have experience with manufacturing inventory management, kitting materials for production, and ERP software.
This position will be ensuring that production inventory is accurate, complete and safeguarded. This individual must be detail-oriented and well organized. They need strong clerical skills to help them with their organizational and recording responsibilities.
Duties
- Accurately document the quantity and quality of inventory
- Receive, unpack, and deliver goods; re-stock items as necessary; label shelves
- Process and document return to stock as required, following established procedures
- Transfer inventory to its appropriate stock location the same day as received
- Able to reconcile stock counts to report data
- Perform physical count of inventory and perform reconciliation with actual available stock
- Operate both manual and computerized inventory systems to punch in values of goods and equipment
- Update inventory records with new information on a constant basis
- Investigate inventory errors and perform corrective measures
- Assist in conducting efficient inventory checks from start to finish with the goal of minimizing adjustments
- Prepare inventory reports as directed
- Follow guidelines for proper storage and handling of all inventories, including chemicals
- Maintain physical condition of all inventory locations to ensure safety and minimize loss
- Prepare kits for assembly through pick lists and production routers
- Adhere to EH&S and FOD policies and procedures
- Able to analyze and solve problems with a proactive attitude
- Able to prepare routine administrative paperwork
- Perform inventory transactions in ERP system
- Support material transfer/movement between receiving, inspection, stockroom, manufacturing and shipping as applicable
Job Requirements - consist of education, skills, training, and competency of Internal Procedures listed and Associated Documents
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn our operating software in detail
- Familiar with an integrated ERP software preferred (e.g. SAP)
- Database management skills
- Ability to operate a forklift, if applicable
- Must be able to lift up-to 35 lbs.
- Must be able to read/write/speak in English
